Forestry mulching.
Brush control on site.
Mulch suitable brush and saplings where they stand. This method can open trails and overgrown areas while leaving processed material on the ground.

Understand the work
How forestry mulching works.
A forestry mulcher cuts suitable brush and saplings into smaller pieces on site. The material stays on the ground rather than being piled or hauled away.
Mulching can be used for trails, fence lines, and brush control where mulch can remain. It does not include complete stump removal or a finished building pad. Those requirements may call for clearing or excavation.
Common project goals
- Manage brush and suitable smaller vegetation
- Open or reopen trails and access lanes
- Clean up fence lines and property edges
- Improve access on hunting and recreational land
Site conditions
What affects the scope?
An estimate considers the work required and the conditions on site.
- 01Size, type, and density of vegetation
- 02Acreage, slope, and equipment access
- 03Obstacles and how selective the work should be
- 04The finish you want and how the area will be maintained
Before requesting an estimate

Common questions.
01What happens to the vegetation?
Suitable material is processed on site and remains as a layer of organic material. The exact result depends on conditions, vegetation, equipment, and the agreed finish.
02Will mulching remove all roots and stumps?
Mulching does not remove all roots or stumps. If the site needs to be built on, graded, or fully cleared, discuss those requirements before selecting a method.
03Is it suitable for every property?
No. Steep slopes, difficult access, heavy vegetation, and hidden obstacles can limit where a mulcher can work. The site must be evaluated first.
